Frequently asked questions
Why does 1 mm equal 1 litre per square metre?
A 1 mm layer of water spread over 1 m² has a volume of exactly 1 litre, which makes irrigation depth easy to convert to total water volume.
What flow rate should I enter?
Use the flow reaching the irrigated area, in litres per minute. A measured value is preferable when available.
Is the runtime exact?
It is a planning estimate based on total flow. Real application can vary with pressure, sprinkler layout, wind, overlap and distribution uniformity.
